Welcome to Glendive Montana

The town of Glendive is located in South Eastern Montana and is considered by many as an agricultural hub of Eastern Montana and Western North Dakota. The town itself is tucked between the Yellowstone River and the Badlands, named for the rugged terrain and jagged rock formations.

Makoshika State Park is replete with prehistoric fossils, mineral specimens and dinosaur bones and is one of the most spectacular geologically spectacular badlands in the entire region. The townspeople are particularly fond of their park and say that it takes a different kind of appreciation to see unmatched beauty in the badlands.
